VIRTUAL INSTRUCTION DAYS

due to Inclement Weather

When severe weather occurs after all six built-in makeup days have been used, Washington County Public Schools may transition to a Virtual Instruction Day. These days count as official school days and are designed to maintain instructional continuity while ensuring student and staff safety.

Virtual Instruction Days include:
  • Required student attendance
  • A minimum of four (4) hours of live, synchronous instruction
  • Continued support for special education, 504 services, and related services
  • Instruction delivered through district-approved digital platforms

If a student encounters issues with their district-issued device during a virtual snow day, please call 1-888-377-SNOW (7669) or email
